What’s your cancellation policy?
Sometimes you may need to cancel a scheduled appointment. That's absolutely fine. All I ask is that you endeavour to provide at least 24 hours notice. This is because sometimes other tutees may also need to cancel and would appreciate their appointment being rearranged to another time during the week. Alternatively, at particular points in the year some tutees may want additional appointments. Providing me with at least 24 hours notice enables me to accommodate the needs of other tutees.
However, sometimes you may fall suddenly ill and may not be able to give 24 hours notice. I completely understand. In such instances I would not charge a cancellation fee.
It is important to note that I would charge a £20 cancellation fee if sudden cancellations happen several times.
Do you charge for resources, travel or planning and preparation time?
No, the prices I quote are the prices I charge. There are no hidden charges or extras.
How does online tutoring work?
I use a free software that runs in your browser. We can see and hear each other, I can write on the screen with an interactive whiteboard and share resources! This can make online tuition a convenient form of tuition when travel or home living situations make home tuition difficult.
Do you have a CRB/enhanced DBS check?
Yes! I have a regularly updated enhanced DBS as any reliable tutor should!
I have dogs. Will this be a problem?
Absolutely not! I'm a massive "dog person".
